VIVIAN SHAW

Vivian is a 2015 graduate of Harvard College and a 2019 graduate of the Harvard Graduate School of Education. During college, Vivian tutored and mentored immigrant students in the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston through the Phillips Brooks House Association, and taught Civics to high school students at national and international conferences through the Harvard Model Congress. After graduation, she took her passion for education into schools and spent a year as a guidance counselor at a small school in Boston before becoming the 10th grade physics and AP Calculus teacher. After living in Boston for eight years, Vivian is slowly making her way back down south, and is currently an 11th grade physics teacher in the School District of Philadelphia. Vivian originally hails from Austin, TX.
