Ariana studied Physics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.  After graduating with a B.S. from MIT in 2013, she was the architect of big data platforms at several startups before founding her own company to consult with Silicon Valley startups on their data infrastructure and analysis.  In 2017, she returned to academia as a Ph.D candidate at Stanford in the Information Systems Lab of the Department of Electrical Engineering. Her research aims to develop theoretical statistical guarantees for machine learning algorithms using tools from Physics and Information Theory.

Ariana began tutoring math in high school and developed a lifelong passion for teaching.  Today she continues the passion as a teaching assistant at Stanford. She particularly enjoys tutoring because of the opportunity it gives to work one-on-one with a student and tailor the explanation of the material to that individual student’s way of thinking.

We are delighted to welcome Ariana to the SSP team!
